Summary

Due to the expiration of the board term, we have a vacancy for the role of treasurer in our 3-person board.

Detailed description

Stichting Soul Surfers is a small non-profit organization that is committed to improving the well-being of residents of The Hague. They do this by going surfing together; surf therapy has been proven to be effective. In the spring we will start a surf project especially for young carers.

The board of the foundation consists of a chair, secretary and treasurer. It fulfils three roles: a strategic, an advisory and a practical one. We think about the strategic course, advise the project leader on the execution of projects and we have a number of executive / practical tasks.

As treasurer You are responsible for delivering the project & annual budget, the annual accounts and maintaining accurate administration.

Your time investment consists of one hour of financial administration every week, a board meeting 3-4 times a year (2 hours each time) and 6 hours per component on an annual basis for the delivery of the budget or annual accounts.

We are looking for someone with financial knowledge and experience, who has the mission of the foundation at heart and is looking for a fun volunteer job in a small, passionate board. It is a plus if you come from Scheveningen or The Hague and have something to do with (water) sports!

Are you interested or would you like to know more?

Then email us at [email protected]
