Detailed description
Taking care of our farm animals in collaboration with other volunteers and trainees (feeding, brushing, cuddling, etc.) Mucking out, cleaning and scattering the stables at set times. Clearing the meadows of poo, keeping the part clean, sweeping the yard, showing visitors the way, cleaning the toilet, etc
You work in a team of volunteers under the supervision of an administrator.

The Friends of De Nijkamphoeve Foundation wants to operate a low-threshold, accessible Neighborhood Farm that connects people and allows them to come together. We want to bring the farm animal closer to the people, especially the children. We want to create awareness for nature, the environment and sustainability in our own living environment, for example by providing nature and environmental education to children and adults. The BuurtBoerderij also wants to offer space to volunteers who are lagging behind in the labor market or who are looking for meaningful daytime activities or who are looking for an internship for their (pre-)vocational education.
