We are seeking a dedicated volunteer to assist a participant with a visual impairment during the upcoming Move 4 Human Rights Summer Edition. The volunteer will provide support throughout the day, ensuring the participant can fully engage in all activities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the participant in navigating the summer school venue (July 8th: Ichthuskerk Den Haag, July 9th - 12th: The Hague University of Applied Sciences).
- Provide descriptive assistance during sessions and activities.
- Support the participant in accessing materials and resources as needed.
- Ensure the participant's safety and comfort throughout the day.
Requirements:
- Compassion and patience.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Sensitivity to the needs of individuals with visual impairments.
- Commitment to volunteering for the specified days (July 8th - 12th, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM; possibly fewer days)
