We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised individual to join our team as Activities Coordinator.

Detailed description

Role Overview:

As Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for organising, and promoting a variety of fitness, wellness and educational programs for our community members as well as after school activities for children.


Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and manage a schedule of exercise and language classes for adults, and after-school programs for children.

- Collaborate with local instructors, volunteers, and community groups to provide high-quality and engaging sessions.

- Ensure that all programs are inclusive and accessible for participants of different ages and abilities.

- Maintain open communication with participants and gather feedback to continuously improve programs.


Skills & Qualities:

- Strong organisational and time management skills.

- Ability to engage with diverse community members, including children and parents.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Experience in managing community programs, particularly fitness or educational activities is preferable.

- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.

- A passion for promoting health, education, and community engagement.

The Hungry Mind is a dynamic international community centre serving both the local residents of Loosduinen and the diverse international community of The International School of The Hague.
