About Viable Community
Viable Community is a European Union-based nonprofit focused on preserving and regenerating nature through community-managed projects. We believe in co-ownership, shared learning, and sustainability.
We are looking for a creative and purpose-driven Graphic Designer to join our community. You’ll play a key role in visual storytelling—helping us communicate ideas, inspire action, and enhance our brand’s reach across digital platforms. From creating a Brand Book to co-designing educational materials, your designs will contribute directly to our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design the Newsletter and Social Media Content.
- Create and maintain a Branding Book library of graphics for use across digital, print, and event materials.
- Prepare files for various media including Canva and Adobe tools.
- Collaborate across teams (e.g., UX/UI, Content Creation, Outreach, WebDev) to ensure brand consistency.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience in graphic design.
- Proficiency with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong understanding of composition, layout, typography, and color theory.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote, asynchronous environment.
- Passion for environmental sustainability and nonprofit work.
