About us: Viable Community is a nonprofit building a future where people and nature thrive together. Through co-owned food and energy systems, digital tools, and community-led governance, we empower individuals to regenerate ecosystems and live sustainably.

What we are looking for:

• Full stack / frontend and backend developers
• Testers

We’re building:

• A new digital home for our nature-positive movement
• A volunteer platform where changemakers connect
• A marketplace powered by purpose-driven tokens
• A portal to co-fund solar + agroecology (AgriVoltaics)

What You’ll Do:

• Help build and maintain our main site (Next.js, React, CSS)
• Collaborate on a platform for volunteers and token-based exchanges
• Contribute to eco-tech that backs real-world regeneration projects

You’re a great fit if you:

• Thrive in remote, async teams
• Care deeply about sustainability and tech for impact
• Are based in Europe
• Know or are willing to learn: don’t need to know them but need to be willing to learn it as it is what we’re using: AWS: amplify, S3, IAM, etc; Next.js / React / TailwindCSS; Payload CMS; Cypress; Github; Spring / Java, Kotlin.
