On Mondays, you will assist with the preparation of a communal meal for the elderly.
On Mondays, from 9:30 to 13:30, you will assist with the preparation and execution of the communal meal for the elderly. You will work alongside support staff, volunteers, and other participants. The guests arrive around 12:00, after which a meal is served, usually consisting of a three-course menu.
What will you be doing?
- Shopping for ingredients (alone or with a colleague).
- Assisting in the kitchen with ingredient preparation, cooking and setting the tables.
- Welcoming the guests and serving the meal.
- Cleaning up afterwards: clearing the tables, loading the dishwasher, and assisting the volunteer responsible for washing up.
- In addition, the menu for the coming week is regularly discussed with the participants. You are welcome to contribute ideas and have a say in the meals that will be prepared.
