Present Den Haag was founded in 2008 as a volunteer organization to mobilize people to help those in need in The Hague. Every year, we organize 400 to 600 volunteer projects with the elderly, people with physical and intellectual disabilities, the homeless, people experiencing loneliness, and others. We collaborate with approximately 70 healthcare and welfare organizations in The Hague.
Job description
As a project officer, you'll work with volunteer groups, matching their services with the most suitable request or requests for assistance within our network.
Once the match is made, the preparation phase begins. You'll plan and organize the volunteer project and manage communication with the support worker and the volunteer group representative. You'll work closely with the group leader and project coordinator. From time to time, you'll also manage a volunteer project on-site as a group leader.
If you wish, you can specialize as a project employee in offering services to different groups:
- Groups from the business community
- Groups from the (semi-)government
- Groups from MDT courses and other educational courses
- Groups from churches, groups of friends, families, our own flex group

- You can work one or more half days a week
- Good digital skills and no fear of calling
- Gets energy from arranging things, networking and creating something beautiful for the volunteer group
- Enjoys office work, possibly alternating with guiding groups at various locations in The Hague

About Present Den Haag
Present Den Haag builds bridges between people who can make a difference and people and social organizations who need some extra support.
Our volunteer groups consist of people from businesses, schools, churches, or groups of friends, from government agencies: anyone can sign up to work on projects with us, either one-time or multiple times.
The projects are social or practical: we undertake social activities within social organizations or carry out practical jobs, such as gardening or painting. We do this for both individuals and organizations.
You can volunteer with us to carry out projects, supervise volunteer groups, or support us in the office with project organization. Something for everyone!
