Do you have a heart for people and would you like to contribute to a warmer, fairer society? Then join the team of the Give-Away Shop in Laak. Here you not only give things a second life, but especially also give people a helping hand.

What are you going to do?

As a volunteer in the Give-Away Shop team you help with:

• Receiving, sorting and organizing brought-in items (such as clothing, furniture, electronics, toys and crockery).
• Customer contact : welcoming people, providing explanations and support in finding what they need.
• Ensure a clean, warm and respectful shopping environment .
• Possibly: helping with minor repairs , or helping with theme activities and events .

What kind of team are we looking for?

We are looking for reliable, committed people who want to contribute to the well-being of others with attention and respect. People with an open attitude, who want to work from equality and who find it important that people in poverty are also seen and helped.

Practical information

The store is open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12:30 to 16:15. This is separate from TWIK, but is a project of the Vadercentrum location is Jonckbloetplein 76, 2523 AV The Hague .
