Community Manager Volunteer Opportunity
The Viable Community is a sustainability organization dedicated to protecting and preserving nature. We're actively seeking self-motivated volunteers with a passion for community management and communication to join our team.
Role Description:
As a Community Manager Volunteer, you'll play a vital role in nurturing and growing our community of volunteers and our online audience. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Developing and implementing a community engagement plan.
- Managing and fostering relationships within our volunteer community.
- Curating and creating content for internal and external newsletters.
- Coordinating and facilitating online discussions and interactions.
- Collaborating with the marketing team to align community initiatives with branding and marketing efforts.
- Identifying potential partnerships, locations, and events relevant to our mission.
What You'll Contribute:
By volunteering as a Community Manager, you'll be actively contributing to our mission to protect and preserve nature. You'll have the chance to make a meaningful impact while developing your skills and expanding your network within the sustainability sector.

Time Commitment:
We expect a commitment of at least 6 hours per week, although we appreciate and encourage more if available. Flexibility is provided for task completion according to your availability.
Location:
This is a remote role, allowing you to work from anywhere with a computer and a reliable internet connection.
