Searching for a passionate and experienced volunteer Social Media Content Strategist to help us grow our LinkedIn presence and improving our engagement strategy

Welcome to Viable Community, a non-profit organisation based in the European Union dedicated to community-managed projects focused on preserving and regenerating nature. We are currently expanding our outreach efforts on LinkedIn and are looking for a talented volunteer to help us maximise the impact of the platform by providing us with targeted advice on how to ensure our content strategy is effective.


About The Role:

We are seeking a creative and experienced Social Media Content Strategist for an advisory role to support our Content Creation circle with growing our presence on LinkedIn. In this role, you will be responsible for advising how our content creators can create compelling content to optimise engagement, and build a strong brand voice that resonates with our target audience on LinkedIn. You will work cloesly with the coordinators from the Outreach and Communications and Content Creation to understand our brand, our vision and mission, and our goals to be able to devise an effective strategy.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a tailored LinkedIn content strategy aligned with our organisation's goals and voice.
  • Contribute to creating high-quality, engaging, and original LinkedIn posts - including text, carousels, videos, polls, and thought leadership articles.
  • Optimise personal and/or company LinkedIn profiles for visibility, SEO, and engagement.
  • Monitor content performance, analyze metrics, and iterate strategies based on data insights.
  • Proactively engage with our network by commenting, reacting, and participating in relevant conversations to increase reach and visibility.
  • Organise short trainings/workshops to our members on best practices for content creation for LinkedIn.


What We are Looking For:

  • Proven experience managing LinkedIn strategy for individuals or brands, focusing particularly on growth and enagement.
  • Deep understanding of LinkedIn's algorithm, platform features, and engagement tactics.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn analytics tooks.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and deliver consistent output.
