Detailed description

Brand Lead

Your role within Advocates Who Thrive (AWT) is to strengthen and deepen our brand identity. So that everything we do, share, and create clearly reflects our mission, values, and energy. You’ll build a strong, coherent brand based on the elements of our brand we’ve already developed. And you make sure the brand is easy to apply across platforms and materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Bring together existing brand elements (logo, colours, tone of voice, etc.) into a strong, cohesive brand identity that’s well-documented and easy for others to use.
  • Add what’s missing, such as visuals, guidance on fonts and colours, templates for flyers and info packs, highlights on our Instagram page, etc.
  • Ensure that our brand is reflected across our website, social media content, and materials.
  • Collaborate with the social media team, project leads, and website coordinator to support brand consistency across all channels.
  • Keep an eye on visual coherence and alignment across AWT materials.
  • Suggest new ways in which the AWT brand can grow, evolve, and stand out.

Qualifications:

  • A strong sense of visual and verbal branding, and the ability to translate values into design and tone.
  • Experience with or interest in visual identity design and documentation.

About Advocates Who Thrive

At Advocates Who Thrive we empower current or aspiring advocates to become more influential in their fight for social and environmental justice.

We do so by offering them training and coaching opportunities that build their confidence, capacity and competences to speak up, lobby & campaign for the environment, animal rights, human rights and inclusion.

In order to successfully address these urgent societal challenges, we need all kinds of angles and viewpoints to be on board. That’s where our main activities – the intensive, multi-day training courses that we organize – come in. Where international youth from all kinds of backgrounds come together. The training setup in combination with their passion and collective drive allows them to fully focus on the topic and on each other. As a result, participants develop themselves and each other in ways they never imagined before.

Fully in line with these values, in our organization we welcome and involve youth from all walks of life. No matter their background, religion, education, ethnicity, gender identity, or sexual orientation, everyone is welcome to join!
