🧠 About Advocates Who Thrive

Advocates Who Thrive is a mission-driven nonprofit foundation committed to championing dignity, growth, and inclusion for marginalized voices around the world. We believe that advocacy begins within — by building thriving, inclusive communities, and equipping change-makers with the tools and support they need to lead courageously.

Through education, coaching, policy / strategic advising, and capacity-building, we partner with grassroots and global allies to amplify the voices of those often unheard, working towards a future where thriving is a human right, not a privilege.

At AWT, we are more than an organization — we are a values-driven movement, powered by purpose, collaboration, and radical empathy.

● Ensure that participant data is collected, stored, and accessed responsibly—this includes managing consent forms, maintaining secure folders, updating the master tracking sheet.

●  Help prepare recruitment materials for the Pilot Edition, such as visuals, text drafts, and forms, to support outreach to potential coachees through our website and partner channels.

● Collaborate with the Project Manager and project team where needed, contributing to shared tasks and supporting smooth coordination across different areas of the Pilot Edition.

●  Ensure alignment with AWT’s values, tone, and equity-first approach in all aspects of your work.

🌱 Qualifications & Skills

  • Relevant experience in administrative support, coordination, or data handling
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Google Drive, Google Forms, spreadsheets (e.g. Excel or Google Sheets), and Canva for basic visual tasks.
  • Passion for social justice, equity, and community-led work.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely with strong time management

📈 Preferred (but not required)

  • Previous experience in a nonprofit or advocacy-based organization
  • Multilingual fluency / intercultural fluency
  • Lived experience related to the communities we serve

💼 What We Offer

  • A supportive and values-aligned team environment
  • Flexibility and autonomy
  • A platform to contribute to meaningful, global impact

🎁 Volunteer Perks

As a token of our appreciation for your dedication, we offer the following:

About Advocates Who Thrive

At Advocates Who Thrive we empower current or aspiring advocates to become more influential in their fight for social and environmental justice.

We do so by offering them training and coaching opportunities that build their confidence, capacity and competences to speak up, lobby & campaign for the environment, animal rights, human rights and inclusion.

In order to successfully address these urgent societal challenges, we need all kinds of angles and viewpoints to be on board. That’s where our main activities – the intensive, multi-day training courses that we organize – come in. Where international youth from all kinds of backgrounds come together. The training setup in combination with their passion and collective drive allows them to fully focus on the topic and on each other. As a result, participants develop themselves and each other in ways they never imagined before.

Fully in line with these values, in our organization we welcome and involve youth from all walks of life. No matter their background, religion, education, ethnicity, gender identity, or sexual orientation, everyone is welcome to join!
