Fundraiser

Wool for Warmth is a non-profit organization committed to helping homeless people in The Hague by donating winter cloths. The network of knitters and crocheters transforms the old scraps of wool into beautiful hand knitted/crocheted winter gifts for the 39,300 homeless in The Netherlands.

We are looking for an energetic and experienced fundraising volunteer.

What you’ll do

• Approaching business, local authorities, trusts and individuals to secure funding

• Setting up a fundraising team for the organization

• Planning donation campaigns and events

• Coming up with new ways to acquire funding

• Raising awareness of the charity and its work at local and national levels

• Setting up the revenue model for the organization

• Building relationships with potential sponsors including individual community and current donors

• Working on the process to get grants from EU, City Hall and other organizations

What you’ll need

• You have relevant fundraising experience

• The ability to meet financial targets

• Good Organizational and project management skills

• Fluent in Dutch and English

• Time to work as much as you want
