Do you live in the area of The Hague or do you like to be on the beach of Scheveningen? And are you enthusiastic and proactive, and good at coordinating and organizing?
Then we are looking for you!
We are immediately looking for a coordinator of the Surf&Durf Club for our Surf&Durf location in Scheveningen.
You manage the registrations of participants and the availability of the Club's volunteers and then make an appropriate division into the couples (: buddy with participant).
We expect a minimum presence of two to five days per season at the beach location. You also work behind the scenes to maintain contact with participants and volunteers.
In consultation with the other coordinators and the surf school, you plan the Surf&Durf Club days for the surfing season. You coordinate the options and make a final plan together.
You will become part of a fun team and contribute to the social-emotional development of children in the region. You will receive a volunteer compensation for your efforts. You will also receive a lot of appreciation from the children and parents! Every year you participate in the annual start of Surf&Durf and you are invited to contribute ideas to the organization.

On the beach and in surfing, skills are learned in a playful way to stimulate social and emotional development.
Personal goals and experiences can be aimed at increasing communication skills, improving body awareness and experiencing relaxation. All this contributes to a greater confidence in yourself.
Surf&Durf offers surf therapy with professional expertise and individual approach. The participants are guided by psychomotor therapists (PMTs). They have knowledge of the target group and experience with the use of exercise as a therapeutic means.
