Learn how to fundraise efficiently. We'll show you how to boost your confidence, tell your story and connect with donors, all transferrable skills for work.

The Inspired Fundraiser: Improve Your Confidence, Storytelling and Connection

By Dawn Heuff, Fundraising Consultant

Feeling intimidated by fundraising? It's time to take the fear out of philanthropy! Join seasoned fundraising consultant Dawn Heuff for a 30-minute session designed to empower new volunteers.

This isn’t your typical non-profit fundraising workshop. Together, we’ll explore the positive impact of giving and how cultivating a confident mindset can transform the way you approach fundraising.

You’ll learn key concepts, discover the power of storytelling, and practice opening meaningful conversations with potential donors. Along the way, you’ll gather fresh, creative ideas to help non-profits strengthen donor relationships and keep supporters engaged year after year.

By the end, you’ll leave with new skills, practical strategies, and the confidence to raise funds with authenticity and ease, insights that are just as valuable in business as they are in the non-profit world.

This workshop is part of the Mix & Match Volunteer Job Fair held on November 29, 2025 alongside more workshops such as "Volunteering as a Pathway to Employment in The Netherlands" by Sarah Feid, "Your Voice Matters: Be Heard, Be Active, Belong" with Randy Heuschen, "Rethinking Resolutions: Setting Intentions for a Meaningful New Year" by Vassia Sarantopoulou. While event registration is not mandatory, we would greatly appreciate it if you could take a moment to secure your spot. Your registration not only helps us plan better, but also ensures we can provide you with the best possible experience. Thank you for your consideration, and we look forward to welcoming you to the Mix & Match Volunteer Job Fair!
