Detailed description
And do you get energy from making others happy with a tasty and healthy three-course meal?
Come and cook at Buurt- en Kerkhuis Bethel in The Hague! We are looking for an enthusiastic cook who wants to provide a hot meal for local residents once or twice a month on Tuesdays.
At Bethel, we believe that people who are lucky in life and people who are struggling(er) can mean a lot to each other. We encourage encounters, connections and mutual support — and a shared meal is often the perfect place to start.
What are you going to do?
- You create and prepare (together with volunteers) a tasty and nutritious three-course meal.
- You go shopping.
What do we offer?
- Support from enthusiastic volunteers who help with cooking, serving and washing up.
- An inspiring place to put your cooking talent to use.
- An expense allowance
Who are you?
- You enjoy cooking for groups (± 30 people).
- You have an affinity with people from diverse backgrounds.
- You work independently, but also enjoy working together.
- You are available 1 to 2 times a month, on Tuesdays
