Facility support

We are looking for assistance for our facility officer (concierge). Together with her, you will determine which tasks suit you best, what you enjoy doing, what you would like to learn and which tasks you would prefer her to do. You will be assigned your own regular tasks, the most important of which is taking care of the coffee machines, but you can also switch tasks over time. The facility officer is used to guiding people. This means there is plenty of room for personal growth.

Ultimately, you will work together to ensure that the head office is a pleasant place to work for all colleagues, including international colleagues. You are not afraid to work in a place where a lot of English and sometimes French or another language is spoken. Perhaps you enjoy practising languages, or it is your mother tongue. The facility assistant speaks also Dutch, so it is not essential to be able to speak foreign languages.

You are expected to work at fixed times on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays during the day. You can discuss your exact working hours with the facility officer.

The tasks are very practical. They include:

• cleaning the coffee machines
• tidying the canteen
• taking out the old paper
• restocking supplies
• returning glass/deposit bottles

But you may also enjoy doing/learning more complex tasks, such as:

• things around sending mail
• replacing hardware
• minor repairs
